How It All Started
Hi there, it’s Khan.
You might not know this about me, but from a tender age, my heart has been bewitched by a peculiar fascination for cats. A passion that has been challenging to express given the rather unfortunate fact that my cohabitants have been either terrified of the feline persuasion or afflicted with allergies.
But you see, these little hurdles have done nothing to dampen my resolve. Instead, they’ve fed my curiosity about these Obligate Carnivores. I’ve been studying them, learning about their needs and habits, all in anticipation for that future day when I will finally share my abode with one (or two, or three).
Being a self-proclaimed cat enthusiast, I found myself grappling with a rather perplexing question at a tender age. I wondered, why are domesticated cats being fed commercial “cat food” when their wild counterparts and those in captivity thrive on a diet of raw meat? This question ignited an inner journey of understanding.
I dived headfirst into the world of raw feeding, studying every facet, learning from well-informed sources and individuals who have practiced it for decades. What I found was that their cats were far healthier and happier than those living on commercial diets.
To my surprise, I discovered that even within the raw feeding community, there were a multitude of beliefs and arguments. This didn’t discourage me. On the contrary, it ignited my quest for knowledge even further.
And so, silently and diligently, I’ve constructed my armory of insights, honed my understanding, and crafted my recipe to perfection. All for the love of cats.
